OPEN VEHICLE MORNING SAFARIS
Pick up time: 05:00 am from Oct to March / 05:30 am from Apr to Sept (Hazyview) and drop off at 12h00pm.
Before the sun starts beating down in the lush African bushveld, we collect you from your lodges in Hazyview or at the well-known Rendezvous centre if you stay out of town. When the sun has just risen and woken up the wild animals, it is the ideal time to witness the first animal activity of the day. The great predators like leopard, cheetah, wild dogs and hungry lions are just up and ready to hunt before the mid-day sun.
Once you’ve had breakfast or a light snack, it is a great time to visit waterholes and watch the animals come in to clench their thirst before taking on the heat of the day. Our guides are all qualified and have years’ worth of experience in the park. They love nothing more than to share their well of knowledge with you and to make sure that you have the best safari experience possible. We will stop at picnic spots and rest camps throughout the day for breakfast, lunch and restroom breaks. Please bring with sun cream, a hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, warm clothing in the winter months and a rain jacket in the summer months. Mineral waters are included on all safaris.
You will be collected at your Lodge between 5.00 -5.30 am (Only Lodges in Hazyview) please collect breakfast packs from the lodge, and you will return at about 12h00 after the safari.
Our office will confirm a pick-up time the day before with your lodge reception if unsure please contact our office.
The guide will stop for a breakfast stop during the safari, rest camps have a great variety of meals to choose from if you have no breakfast packs from lodges.
Please bring with comfortable shoes, warm and rainproof jackets, sunhat, sun cream, cameras and personal belongings, the vehicles we use are open safari vehicles, however, they do have roofs for shade. Summers months can get very hot and also wet all on the same days. Water will be included on the vehicle
